Cornell

I’m Davis Cornell, a senior at the University of Alabama, majoring in News Media with a concentration on sports and minoring in Communication Studies. I was born and raised in San Diego, so coming to Alabama has been a big culture shift. In 2026, I served as the Alabama baseball beat writer for the Crimson White and covered their first run to the College World Series since 1999. I am also an intern at WVUA23 as a Sports Reporter. I also recently started an internship at Tide100.9 as a writer and producer. I am also the co-host of the WaaaayOffbase podcast, which covers Alabama baseball. I’m excited for my final year at UA and eager to learn and grow as much as possible. I am interested in pursuing career opportunities in sports writing and broadcasting.
