I’m Davis Cornell, a transfer student at The University of Alabama, majoring in News Media with a focus on sports and minoring in Communication Studies. I was born and raised in San Diego, so coming to Alabama has been a big culture shift. Thankfully, both of my older brothers went to UA, which made the transition easier since I was already familiar with the campus and community. Over the years, I’ve developed a deep love for the university, and since starting here five months ago, I’ve already joined two campus organizations: The Crimson White as a Contributing Sports Writer and WVUA-FM 90.7 Capstone MLB show. I’m excited for the next two years at UA and eager to learn and grow as much as possible.
